Thanksgiving and the question: “What are you thankful for?”

Last Thursday was one of the most important holidays in the US: Thanksgiving. Together with our English teacher we talked about and learned a lot about Thanksgiving that day. We also made some mini-posters. Merle (see above) and Tabea (see below) got creative with their tablets.

Thanksgiving is also called turkey day because all the Americans eat a giant roasted turkey with bread stuffing and mashed potatoes with gravy. They usually watch American football after the big feast. Thanksgiving isn’t always on the same day, it’s on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It was a very exciting and interesting topic and the posters turned out pretty good.
